This is a wonderful hotel. It was a laidback and a quiet experience. I was able to get early check in (probably due to the timing of our stay). Tyler, the front host was super welcoming and helpful in l offering us places and things to do in the area. Any other staff we encountered was super helpful and polite as well. Our room was nice. It had tall ceilings, wood floors, and other characteristics that made the stay nice. If I had only one wish, it would be that our room had a mini refrigerator and microwave.

AMAZING HOTEL!!! We stayed here in November of 2023. We had an awesome experience. The hotel is an old family home so there are only 19 rooms and it feels like you are staying in-house as opposed to a hotel. the rooms are very spacious, very clean and private. Amazing living room/lobby, some rooms have awesome balconies or little patio areas. The staff here is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city and have tons of recommendations for anything you want to do. The hotel is just one block from the street car that will take you right down to Bourbon Street and back. This is the perfect area if you want to stay just outside the French Quarter but still access it regularly. Very safe and quiet. This hotel is extremely close to magazine shopping and dining as well.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, namely its location, beauty, charm and - perhaps above all - incredible staff. Spent a weekend with my daughter there and everything was superb. It's in a beautiful neighborhood, with incredible access on foot to some of the best walks, cafes, shops and sights. The hotel itself is the most charming and beautiful spot to be day or night, and the staff routinely went above and beyond to make our short stay just perfect. Special shout out to Cesar, Angel and Rochelle, thanks to each of you for the amazing weekend!

Staff is amazing. Brian and Cesar especially just the best. But all are great. Hotel is quaint and cute. They have a beautiful front “porch” great for enjoying nightly cocktails from the bar. We had a room near an external door and the door was constantly slamming. I’d avoid that room or any near it. Location is great. Short walk to the streetcar and a handful of tasty places including the cafe across the street. Yes please. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

Great location, Beautiful room, and Friendly staff (for the most part)! Unfortunately, I don’t believe my stay was worth the price considering the bathroom lacks aesthetic. I felt that I was semi- deceived by the photos on their website. During my stay there were issues with the plumbing/water pressure, I found this out after a rude phone call with “Suzanne” a few weeks after my stay.While at the hotel no one let us know they were having issues which led me to believe this would be a normal experience at Henry Howard hotel.I originally wrote a review stating the water pressure was sub-par/ instead of an apology I received a phone call in which I was basically told “I should have asked the staff about the water pressure instead of writing a review”. Suzanne’s tone sounded frustrated instead of apologetic.

My husband and I stayed at the Henry Howard Hotel for our first kid-free trip in nearly 9 years! First off, our flight was delayed. I was worried about getting in late night, BUT Bryan was there to greet us. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail is the main take-way, the King Superior room was larger than I thought, the bed so comfortable, the stylish art A+, the coffee was even the best I have ever had at a hotel. We had a wonderful 4 romantic days. I cannot wait for the next trip already planned for September! (Also shared on Trip Advisor).

My husband and I recently stayed at the Henry Howard Hotel. We had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, cozy, and cute. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. We highly recommend the hotel, and when we return to New Orleans, we will definitely stay here again.

We spent 1 night, for the end of our honey moon in the US before heading back to Paris. The room was so cozy, we slept so well! And the staff was extremely nice and friendly, really kind. Thanks to them, our stay was more than amazing :)
